We worked alongside stylist Tony Cook to curate three ‘minimal effort, maximum impact’ styles that you can wear anywhere. It doesn’t matter if you’re working or relaxing, here are the layered looks you should be living in this season.
In the Navy
Cut the bold colour combinations out and replace them with simple, yet effective shades of navy. Work from the outside-in with a double-breasted, deep navy overcoat. Add dimension with a darker-hued sweater over a sleek, lighter-hued polo shirt for contrasted layers that’ll work just as hard at home as they will at the office. Finally, complete the look with streamlined chinos in, you guessed it, navy blue, and a pair of Derby lace-ups.

Nip/Tuck
As the rules of our working wardrobe become increasingly blurred, it can be tricky to boss your next meeting without looking like you’ve taken the day off. An effective way to sharpen your more casual weekday wear, and even take cues from this season’s styling trend, is simply by tucking in your sweater. T.M.Lewin’s range of super fine knitwear, such as this grey quarter-zip, will neaten up your look without adding extra bulk.

The On-The-Go Coat
Whether you're travelling for work or leisure, your on-the-go wardrobe needs to be both practical and polished. This timeless raincoat embraces the elegance of a traditional check pattern while offering a hard-wearing, tactile fabric that’ll take you from coffee meetings in the city to relaxed strolls around the countryside. The modernity of the slightly oversized silhouette allows room to wear over a suit, as well as more casual layers.
